Random thoughts on NSFW vs SFW

Random thing just cause I was thinking about it,
if I ever do open up a more public server, I think I might make the rules for what is considered NSFW or SFW a bit different just cause the colloquial use of them bugs me. Or, well, When I say SFW vs NSFW, I more so mean just the defining of what would be considered which in the case of art and nudity and such.

I would want the freedom of doing artistic nudity but not having to label it and store it with porn just to differentiate nudity from sexual nature in general; however, the idea I had was as such.

SFW art of any given person just requiring at the very least their genitals and ass covered, notably not their chest. Separating the genderization people typically like to do from the defining of it to allow a more clear secure definition that is more easily understood. Notably, genitals would count as covered if the entire genital organ is covered in a way that doesn't reveal it, like you can not see it through the covering. It wouldn't have to necessarily fully hide the shape, but it can't be just visible through the shape, that being only broadly suggested if at anything, and same with the ass, or to be more specific the anus itself. By normal definition of these terms this would theoretically allow someone who is 99% naked to be considered SFW, which is alright because nudity should not be so inherently seen as a sexual thing. (Grain of salt, I am a nudist.)

Artistic SFW takes this a step further where the subject can be full naked; however, the point of the piece isn't to illicit a sexual response. It could still comment on the state of the sexual nature on things, but if it's a think piece rather than a wank piece then you are fine.

NSFW, in the case of sexual content, is anything made with the intention of pleasure or sexual return out of it. This would include anything kink related and would even include things that would normally be just fully clothed and "SFW" by the older definition due to, well, the sexual nature involved in it. And further the NSFW category would then further be restricted by the Harkness Test, just to be safe.

Although, even with all of this, servers I make will still be 18+ adult only regardless, so it probably wouldn't matter in the end. lmao
