What causes lightning? Here is an answer!

    Since I had nothing on my mind to talk about this Wednesday I decided to say this... Lightning is caused by and overcharge of only negative charge in clouds and only positive charge in the ground. Most of the time clouds have their positive charge go to the top and negative charge go to the bottom and same thing with the ground. lightning is when the charge builds up so much it arcs to the ground. Thunder is when it jumps between the clouds heating water particles so fast they explode, thus you hear the explosion...
