The General

"Perched here atop my lookout, I see them below, my loyal soldiers. Each and every one of them has a face, a name, a story, but as soon as we dawn our helms and raise our weapons, who we are doesn't matter. We become something greater than ourselves, not just a group by a force. We become one; thinking, feeling, and moving as a cohesive unit. No one of us stands out, no one of us has an obvious weakness, we are the Gilded Legion.

The drums of war beats as we close ranks and push forward into the enemies, shredding through their weak defenses like a beast's bite through flesh, penetrating deep into enemy territory and forcing them back with out a single loss. No one could stand before us... yet..." The old general raises his gaze, his wolfish visage glaring at the king. "Your men found a way... one being who was able to knock us down one by one and draw out our fears and make us face the bite of the blade..."

The old general looks around at the walls, his troops bloodied gear strewn about like ornaments on a tree as he glares back at the king, held down by two royal guards as he says "Though, I would not think it was honorable to use such magics... but... if you insist on such, I shall oblidge."

The kings smug grin turns to a sudden look of shock as the general throws back the guards and lets out a guttural battle cry as his form turns into a golden glow...

***

Some distance away a ranger is sat spying on the fortress which barely survived the onslaught as a golden beam of light slams into the roof and a blast of golden energy erupts outwards, crumbling the buildings as the Gilded Legion slowly rises again and returns to their order, marching out of the rubble as their general follows soon after, a decisive victory for the immortal armada.

Thoughts

Those thoughts you have about your actions,
making every waking moment painful when you think too hard.
If you go through this know that your guilt guides you,
Let your mind rest at ease as you atone for your past...

Not by taking your own life or falling down to the spiral of self-destruction,

but rather...

Make yourself better for you and the person you hurt,
Change the world for the better so you can make it brighter.
Do things for the world and indirectly for them so that at the end of your days,
When all is said and done and you are laid on your death bed...

You can know that no matter what comes next,
Even if there is a next...
You did something.
You sought to improve yourself and even if you could never undo what you did to them,
Never live happily with yourself knowing what you did...
You will know that, if you didn't intentionally do it, you would in some way have atoned.

If you awake in the afterlife,
Millenia later after having your soul cleansed in brimstone and fire,
You will be called before those whom you hurt and they will prosecute you.
Let not your mind fear what they choose, but rather accept it whole heartedly.
Admit to your wrong doings and maybe.. just maybe you will find forgiveness.

Thoughts.

What if we all could stand together?
Everyone from all sorts of walks of life.

Ancient Armament enthusiasts with Gun nuts
LGBTQ+ with Racial minorities
Gamers, Furries, and Anime lovers
And everyone else who ever had someone just
not understand.

I dream of a day when everyone can say "Today is a good day"
and not have to worry about if their day is about to be ruined
by some dusty old white guy outlawing them for being a slightly different human.
Or someone attacking them for enjoying something that they think is odd.
Or someone crippling their communities because they don't understand what violence really is.

Even the science communities and art communities see this.
Everyone in constant struggle and strife.

Maybe some day we will all be happy.
No doubt I messed up typing out my thoughts, but I do hope who ever reads this knows...

No matter what anyone else says
No matter what anyone else does
You are Amazing and Valid
You are Caring and Clevar
You are Cultured and Classy
You are Human.

and both God and I love and care about all of you.

Random Art Tips!

Hello! So, this may not be very well known, but I am an artist on the side when I am not focusing on programming and I wanted to make a list of art tips kinda geared towards newer artists. Enjoy!

  1. Never be afraid to begin: know that no matter what no one expects your first piece to be the Mona Lisa. That fear of taking the first step will only keep you from starting a very relaxing, stimulating, creative, and at times even profitable hobby. If you are too scared to draw something, then follow a tutorial or do the classic... Draw a fish. Fish are extremely easy to draw and can be a nice ice breaker for beginners.

  2. Join an Art Community: As odd as it may sound, being an anonymous artist in an art community can help you meet great artists who are more than willing to give you tips and tricks on drawing. For example, Furries have a Very welcoming community with thousands of artists who all love what they do with a burning passion. These communities can provide great stepping stones for a new hobby or even a career.

  3. Start over if you need to: Starting a piece over may seem like a waste of time even if the piece isn't turning out the way you want, but I can assure you that redoing a piece only gives you a higher chance of making it just the way you want. Never stick with the first thing you draw, try stuff out and see what works. You'd be surprised what works out.

  4. Find inspirations: This is a much more rather abstract and personal thing, but look into yourself and your surroundings for anything the inspires you. Something to rile your thoughts and draw out your creativity.

  5. Simplify: Sometimes if you worry too much you'll miss out on the bigger picture. Take time to simplify things, focusing on one layer of details at a time, building your skills from the ground up.

And that is it, for the time being. I hope these tips can help you get into the swing of things!

    Keep howling,
    Wolf.

Just one of those moments

Just sitting here watching a vid on r/InsaneParnets and just thinking like
"Bloody fuck, if it wasn't for the protection of opinions..."
And then realizing that shit like Flat Earth and Anti-vax are very much not opinions and spurred on by misguided preachers and false shepherds who seek nothing more than to gain off of the degradation and rot of the collective mind of society.

Comrades, if you see someone begin to believe in things that go completely against facts, help them by showing them what a "Credible resource" means. Don't worry about the pseudo-sciencers (I.e. people who believe in things like crystal healing or what ever it is called) let them live their delusions, but... please please please don't let these things just go with out a word... My mom started with gardening and slipped into crystals and next thing I knew she was talking about chem trails and conspiracies and slowly driving me ever past that fine edge before irritated and suicidal intent.
